One thing I love about Praza (and its older sister Pushkar) is that they’re always looking for new and creative ideas for the restaurant. Whether it’s their Indian afternoon tea or their limited edition street food menu, there is always something new going on at these fine dining venues. This time, Praza have introduced a Bombay Sapphire rickshaw, which was formerly used in the Mission Impossible film. I was invited down to the rickshaw launch party to celebrate this new and fun way of getting to Praza!
The evening was a chance to preview the rickshaw, which has been stylishly done out with Bombay Sapphire branding, music and, wait for it, a gin bar. The rickshaw is designed to pick up diners from the surrounding area, which will add a really fun and interesting aspect to the meal out. If you’re ever staying in close proximity to the restaurant, take advantage of this different way to travel, as well as the chance to have a cheeky G&T before you arrive!
The party itself was a great showcase of the rickshaw and the restaurant itself. Bombay Sapphire had certainly not held back with the amount of gin flowing throughout the evening, and guests were served some gorgeous canapes, which really showed off the standard of Indian cuisine avaiable at Praza. It was a great chance to chat to Rai, the creative director, about the new venture, as well as meet local press and bloggers over a lot of gin.
Thank-you to Rai and everyone at Praza for having me at the launch party, it was a great night and I look forward hearing how guests enjoy the rickshaw!
